Summypiano

My piano journey started when I was 5 years old, when my parents signed me up for a parent-child piano beginner class in my kindergarten. I spent the next 11 years working really hard to attain Grade 8 ABRSM certification. Throughout this journey, I gave up a couple of times and even decided not to lay a finger on the piano anymore. Despite the difficulties, my love for playing the piano kept me going and eventually, I am proud that I had managed to make it to the finishing line - the ABRSM Grade 8 Examination.

After the completion of all the Examinations, I feel really happy that I no longer have to practice and play for Examinations anymore. I can play the piano by ear - so I spent my free time trying to figure out how to play pop songs that I love, and shared my piano covers on YouTube. However, my YouTube channel was kind of inactive for a long time due to school work and subsequently, busy work schedules.

In 2021, I stumbled upon some random piano tutorial videos on TikTok, and I thought hey, maybe I could do the same. I could put my skills into good use - to reach out to people around the world who enjoys playing the piano. That's how my piano tutorials journey started.
